CHI was established in Malta in 1998 first by the Late Christina Sammut , then in 2010 it was continued by her Daughter Caricia Sammut and her Brother James Sammut, together they formed CC&J Ltd which now is one of the leaders in Hair Care Products in Malta and Gozo.
CHI Malta is a company of hairdressers and have built our company on the core principals of helping stylists with education. We believe in providing superior educational tactics aimed to groom hairdressers into becoming their own success story. We bring together an amazing team of hairdressers who like to join us, in Amsterdam City to learn from Global International Educators, Colour Techniques, updos, hair cuts and barbering. We also provide online education and webinars which can also be found on this website.

Our Story
Mr. Farouk Shami is the owner of 27 patents creating the world’s first ammonia-free hair color. He was also the first to use silk proteins in the creation of the BioSilk Silk Therapy Line. Dr. Shami invented the very first CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Iron. He is known for revolutionizing the hair industry with NASA technology while creating a safer and healthier work place and environment for both stylists and consumers. Currently, the company has over 2,000 employees and product distribution throughout the United States and to over 144 countries worldwide.
CHI Malta provides the beauty industry with the latest innovations to a wide-range of markets through multiple successful product lines. We also provide the finest educational support to better serve hairdressers and their clients.
Every two years we have the opportunity to meet along over 5,000 hairdressers worldwide, and also the opportunity to meet Mr.Farouk Shami in Cancun, Mexico.
